What if my documents are laminated?

Certificates issued by governmental bodies, such as birth, marriage, or death certificates, decree absolutes, wills, and similar documents, cannot be legalised if they have been laminated. In such cases, a new copy of the document will need to be produced for the legalisation process.

However, for educational certificates or any documents requiring certification by a solicitor, certified copies will always be created, ensuring that the original document remains untouched. Therefore, lamination does not prevent us from legalising these types of documents.
