What is a Visa on Arrival?

Some countries offer a Visa on Arrival, which means that once you arrive in the country, you will be granted a visa that will allow you stay in that country for a determined amount of time. There is sometimes a fee, and you will be able to find more information about this on our service pages. A Visa on Arrival can sometimes be a bit of a hassle and you may need to queue for a while to obtain one. there is also a chance you may be refused entry, which could result in a waste of time and airfare if you are unable to resolve the matter at the immigration desk. It is often more expensive than obtaining a visa before you travel so, where possible, we would advise getting your visa before you arrive.
