I do not need a visa. Do I need to take any documents with me?
For all countries, you are required to take your passport or accepted form of travel document. Each country has a different policy regarding the validity of your passport, and some may require you to have blank pages in order to obtain an entry stamp. We would advise that you have a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of entry and at least 1 blank page. If you are unsure about the requirements, you can contact us, and we will assist you.
We would also advise that you present evidence of the following:
- A return or onward travel ticket
- Accommodation during your stay
- Travel insurance documents
- Sufficient funds for the duration of your stay
- A photocopy of your passport, just in case it gets lost. This will make it easier for the British Embassy to assist you.
We recommend you make several copies of these documents, or ensure you have access to digital versions of them if required. Even if you don't require a visa for your trip, you can find out about country-specific requirements on the service page for that country. Just use the drop-down box to select your citizenship and destination to find out more.
