What is the difference between visa validity and maximum stay?

The Validity Period refers to the amount of time that the visa is valid for. You are able to visit the country within that validity period. This sometimes begins the day you obtain the visa, and other times it the validity starts the day you arrive in the country. We will be able to advise you on this, and the best time to start the visa application process before your trip.

The Maximum Stay refers to the maximum period of time you are allowed to remain in the country. For some countries, there are visas available to different periods of time, while others only provide one. You will be able to find this information on our website, but you can also contact us if you are unsure of which one you require.
