Why did my payment fail?
If you've placed an order but your payment is not going through, don’t worry. There are several reasons why a payment may fail, and most issues can be easily resolved.
Incorrect Details
One common reason for payment failure is incorrect details. Payment processing screens each attempt to ensure the security of your information. Checks are made to verify that the payment is authorized by the cardholder. First, please double-check the address details you’ve entered at checkout. The "Billing Address" should match the address shown on your credit card statement (for credit cards) or your bank statement (for debit cards).
Temporary Card Block
All card payments are processed through our UK card processor, regardless of your location or currency. As a result, your card issuer may flag this as a foreign transaction, especially if you don't frequently make such payments. Some card providers may temporarily block foreign payments.
To resolve this, contact your card issuer and confirm that you intend to make this payment. You’ll need to provide the order amount and confirm the provider name, which is Vital Certificates. Your card issuer can typically lift the restriction within a few minutes, and you can then return to checkout to complete your payment.
Insufficient Funds
Another possibility is that there are insufficient funds in your account to cover the transaction. Please note that payments are processed in UK Pounds (unless you have selected another currency). Make sure there are enough funds on your card to cover the total order amount.
How to Complete Your Order
Our system will save the details of your order, so you won’t have to re-enter everything. You can simply return to checkout and try completing the payment again. Alternatively, feel free to give us a call, and we can take your payment over the phone. We also offer other payment methods if needed.
